Lifestyle service / product line "MENG HOUSE®" by Peter Hsiang-Kai Meng 孟祥凱 - 75th decendant of Mengzi (c. 372—289 B.C.E.) who was a Ruism philosopher, which is described as tradition or simply a way of life. Mencius, which is the Latinized form of Mengzi (Master Meng), was born in Tsou, a small state south of Lu, the home state of Confucius. Lu lay in what is now the southern part of Shantung Province and had been an important political and cultural center for much of the Chou dynasty (1122-256 B.C.). Mencius's full name was Meng K'o, and he was the descendant of the Meng, or Meng-sun, clan, one of the three ruling families in Lu.
Mengzi is best known for his claim that “human nature tends good" and people should "dwell in benevolence and righteousness." It is reflective of Confucius teaching "when you choose a living environment, how can you consider yourself wise if you don't choose a residential area that is full of kindness and virtuous?" The trademark graphic is actually the "Meng" Chinese last name character symbolizes a human above the vessel alongside symbols representing wealth prosperity(Lu) in Chinese culture.
